Rosemary Citrus Salt

A simple, magical blend of fresh rosemary, vibrant citrus zest, and mineral rich salt

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup coarse sea salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest (about 1 lemon)
  • 1 tbsp orange zest (about 1 orange)

Instructions
 

  • Combine the salt, rosemary, and citrus zest in a small bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly until the rosemary and zest are evenly distributed.
  • Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Air dry for 12-24 hours, stirring occasionally, until completely dry.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

Notes

Serving Ideas:
  • Sprinkle over roasted chicken, turkey, or fish.
  • Brighten up roasted vegetables like carrots, potatoes, or asparagus.
  • Rim a cocktail glass for an herbal, citrusy twist.
  • Add a pinch to salad dressings or marinades for an extra pop.
